Dog Days of Summer Blog Fest! (August 10-12)
I know there are a lot of blog hops going around this summer, but they’re an awesome way to meet new bloggers, so my take on them is: the more the merrier!
On that note, tie your shoes up and get ready for a wild Dog Days of Summer blog hop during the second week of August (August 10-12)!!
The rules are simple. Write a brief post on one or all three topics below:
1) Describe your favorite summer activity thus far.
2) What activities do you plan before summer is over?
3) If you could have the ultimate vacation ever, where and what would it be?
Then bring the laptop to the backyard, grab a beer, put some steaks on the barbie, and hop around to as many of the blogs signed up below, leaving comments in your trail.

Hi Jeremy. Thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog, despite my disappearing act(s) this summer. I really appreciated it.
This sounds fun and I love that we really don’t have to do very much except write something fun and relax outside with some beer and steaks (Can we bring wine instead)? I signed up even though I was initially reluctant. As you know I had to back out of the last blogfest I joined and I felt like I let the other participants down. I thought about it and your dates are perfect because my kids all go back to school early this year. I hope I don’t have to disappoint-again.
I had already tweeted about the blogfest and posted about it on fb and google plus before I decided to sign up so now I have done so twice. I also put your button on my sidebar. I will move it up when I figure out how to do that. Looking forward to this relaxing and non demanding blogfest. It will be a good way for me to reconnect with everyone after being away so much this summer.

It sounds like so much fun but I’m overwhelmed with everything I need to do to get my children’s chapter book ready to launch in October. Am way behind schedule due to monkey wrenches.
